Campaign to Free Political Prisoners in Iran (CFPPI) is a non-profit organization which was initially established in 2006 by a group of ex- political prisoners from Iran. Thousands of people in Iran, men and women, young and old are in prison today for standing up for their right: freedom; these men and women have been deprived of exercising their belief. CFPPI has been established to be the voice of political prisoners and their families in Iran.
One of the main campaigns of the CFPPI is “I am her/his voice” which aims to attract the concerned individual and organizations to support political prisoners in Iran.
Political prisoners need support, their voices needs to be heard loud and clear worldwide, their inhumane conditions imposed by the Islamic regime must be exposed and they all have to be freed immediately and unconditionally. This acts as one of the main front and a cornerstone in struggle of people against the vicious Islamic regime. The Campaign to Free Political Prisoners in Iran(CFPPI) aims to work for and organize a vast campaign for unconditional freedom of all political prisoners in Iran regardless of their belief and opinion.
Our vision is that freedom of speech is not a privilege but a fundamental right. We believe that freedom of speech should apply to everyone regardless of their race, religion, belief, gender, sexual orientation or political views.
Our mission is to bring an end to systematic and organized attacks on the fundamental and universal rights of people in Iran who have been jailed, tortured and executed for over three decades for daring to fight for their entitled human and civil rights.
Our mission is also to build an international solidarity to exert an international pressure on the Islamic regime to end tortures, imprisonments and executions in Iran. We undertake research, raise awareness, engage the public, lobby governments and international bodies on the situation of political prisoners in Iran.
