At the close of the 2025 Nobel Prize announcement week, 105 Nobel Laureates from five continents sent a letter to the Secretary-General of the United Nations, expressing their solidarity with the people of Iran. In their letter, they stated: The people of Iran have rejected both the monarchical dictatorship and the religious tyranny, calling instead for a free and democratic republic. We condemn the escalating executions, repression, and grave human rights violations in Iran,
