The following is the full text of this letter written by this political prisoner:
"In addition to thanking you for remembering me as one of the oldest political prisoners in Iran and not allowing my name and suffering to be forgotten, I felt it necessary to offer you some points in good faith and out of goodwill.
Of course, it is worth mentioning that my brother, Gholamhossein Kalbi, a member of the People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran who is imprisoned in Sheiban Prison in Ahvaz, has a longer prison record than me and has spent a total of 32 years in prison; especially in the last 26 years, he has not had a single day off and is in fact the oldest political prisoner in Iran.
But my main purpose in this message is a more important issue; and that is, your name and your award are being tainted with connections to the hands of the monarchy. It is a pity and a pity that your name is placed next to symbols of dictatorship and dependence.
I am honestly and out of goodwill telling you that there is an influential person and a mercenary appointed alongside you to keep you completely under control. Also, regarding Iraj Mosdaghi, it should be noted that 1606 political prisoners have testified to his influential role and performance.
Statement of "1606" political prisoners regarding Iraj Mosdaghi's nonsense
I have presented these points to you solely with good faith, respect, and appreciation for your efforts during your time in Iran. Thank you"
