According to the “Voice of Detainees,” on Thursday, December 11, 2025, Ahmad Khodadadi, a resident of Piranshahr and originally from Naqadeh, was arrested by security forces and transferred to an unknown location.

Human rights sources report that the arrest took place on Monday, December 8, 2025, and was carried out without the presentation of any judicial warrant.

So far, no information is available regarding the reasons for his arrest, his place of detention, or any charges that may have been brought against him.

This incident comes amid a systematic pattern of arbitrary arrests in Iran in recent years. Human rights organizations state that every year, hundreds of civil, political, labor, women’s rights activists, journalists, and ordinary citizens are detained without due process.

Just last year, more than one thousand people across the country were arrested or forcibly disappeared under vague security-related accusations, many of whom remain held in undisclosed locations.

The report calls on the public and international institutions to apply monitoring, reporting, and effective pressure on the Iranian authorities to hold them accountable for these detentions and to push for the release of political prisoners.

It also urges citizens to continue sharing information to ensure that the voices of detainees do not remain unheard.
