Amid a new wave of arrests targeting Kurdish citizens and activists in Iran, four individuals—Kaveh Koleh, Ghader Koleh, Samko Yousefi, and Mohammad Mostafa—have been arrested by Intelligence Ministry forces in the cities of Bukan and Mahabad and transferred to unknown locations.
According to reports, on Monday, Azar 17, 1404, Samko Yousefi, a civil activist and Kurdish language teacher from Bukan, was arrested with violence by Intelligence Ministry agents on a street in the city. He had previously been detained in Khordad of this year and was temporarily released on bail after several weeks.
Two other citizens, Kaveh Koleh and Ghader Koleh, were arrested in Bukan without the presentation of a judicial warrant.
Additionally, on Sunday, Azar 16, 1404, Mohammad Mostafa, a resident of Mahabad, was arrested following a raid by security forces on his family home.
All arrests were carried out without judicial warrants, and there is still no information regarding the whereabouts or condition of the detainees.
According to Kurdish human rights groups, at least 19 Kurdish citizens and activists have been arrested over the past week in the cities of Marivan, Bukan, Mahabad, and Oshnavieh by forces affiliated with the IRGC Intelligence Organization and the Ministry of Intelligence—raising serious concerns over escalating security repression in Kurdish regions.
