Somaieh Rashidi’s Condition Worsens; Doctors Say No Hope for Survival

Somaieh Rashidi, a political prisoner held in Qarchak Prison in Varamin, has been transferred to the hospital in critical condition, where doctors have reportedly lost hope of saving her life.

According to reports, her level of consciousness has dropped to 5, nearly five months after her arrest. Her family says prison authorities repeatedly denied her essential medical care over the past months.

In recent days, Rashidi suffered multiple seizures, causing her condition to deteriorate further. Her family has expressed deep concern while rejecting attempts by security forces to push a narrative of “suicide.”
