Transfer of Saadegh Sedaghat to Adelabad Prison in Shiraz

Saadegh Sedaghat, a retired teacher and civil activist from Darab who had been held in temporary detention at Darab Prison since October 20, has been transferred to Adelabad Prison in Shiraz. According to his family, his case has been referred to the Shiraz Revolutionary Court, and he is accused of “acting against national security through forming groups on social media.” Sedaghat was previously arrested and imprisoned in 2022 during the teachers’ protests.
